Meet the Team

CMA's courses are designed and taught by experienced healthcare leaders and former case managers who are passionate about helping their colleagues succeed.

 

Holly Hughes, FOUNDER & FACULTY

Holly Hughes (she/her) is a behavioral health clinician with over 20 years of experience. She is the CEO of HH & Co. and offers clinical supervision and consultation. She understands the fact that case managers work with people who experience stigma and inequities, making the job supporting them complex. Her values were shaped from being a case manager at San Francisco General Hospital and working on a spectacularly collaborative team. She wants to support others in staying inspired and empathic in the day-to-day work.

Vanessa magee, FACULTY & CONTENT CONTRIBUTOR

Vanessa Magee (she/her) is the Director of Clinical Operations at HH & Co. and serves as a co-facilitator for the Case Management Academy. Vanessa enjoys working with youth, families, and couples and has held various roles as a case manager and medication aide in hospitals, home care agencies, and hospices. She is adept in treating substance use disorder and trauma and offers warm, consistent support, understanding the journey is rarely linear. Specializing in therapy treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR, Vanessa supports clients with navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, and relationship struggles.

ISABEL CORSER, DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS

Isabel Corser (she/her) is the Director of Special Projects at HH & Co. and expertly handles the logistics for consulting projects and workshops. She also is the go-to content collaborator. Isabel believes in incorporating therapeutic practices into everyday life and making these skills accessible to everyone. Before her role at HH & Co., Isabel worked in the University of California, Berkeley’s Micro Lab, a lab that bridges research between the business school and psychology department, as a Domestic Violence Legal Advocate in Santa Cruz, and as a project coordinator.
